cannot open jpg files from my Iomega HD80GB hardrive?I have photos on my external hardrive that I cannot open, and I get a warning everytime that I need to restore them by dragging them from Windows to somewhere else. I have Iomega Automatic Backup Pro installed on my computer and it is not working. This product is no longer under warranty and I would like to get these photos off of this external hardrive. I cannot open these jpg in any other format. Please, someone help me.

Attempt system restore to a point when you are sure all is right. Or insert Windows installation CD and repair. Or rename the file extension which probably wouldn't work. Reinstall the Iomega and reconnect the drive, or connect it through another prot or plug.
I suggest you invest in Acronis or Norton Ghost (father of backup and restoring).
If you get that warning, maybe it is a rouge's fault. Scan your computer for malware using highest detection settings.
