How do I program an RCA Systemlink 3 universal remote control?I have an older RCA Systemlink 3 universal remote control & am trying to program it. I have followed every instruction that I can find on-line: turn tv on, press & hold the code search button until led lights up, press & release the TV button, repeatedly press & release the on/off button until tv turns off, then press enter. I cannot get it to work. Any suggestions?

I read in the manual that the device you are tying to operate should be off when you start... if that doesn't work, you should buy a new remote, they are much smarter these days and pretty cheap.
